Abrasives generally bought from Mohawk Materials. Any other abrasive will have to be bought specifically for its corresponding job.
In-House Testing Performed
- Chloride Salt Test in accordance with SSPC Guide 15 & 24
- Abrasive Salt Test in accordance with SSPC AB1
- Anchor Profile Test in accordance with ASTM D4417 & SSPC-PA 17
- Nozzle Orifice Gauge (per manufacturer instructions)
- Needle Pressure Gauge in NPG 100 (per manufacturer instructions)
- Environment Testing in accordance with ASTM E337 (or use of a digital hygrometer)
- Blotter Test in accordance with ASTM D4285
- Surface Temperature (per manufacturer instruction)
- Water Break Test in accordance with ASTM F21 or ASTM F22
- Black Light Test in accordance with SSPC TU11
We can blast within the SSPC NACE Joint International Standards and supplement it with SSPC VIS-1
